Problems may include memory loss, speech and language disorders, as well as cognitive deficits associated with psychiatric disorders (e.g., depression). |

The Memory Clinic offers comprehensive diagnostic assessment and follow-up of patients. Initial assessments are provided by a geriatric psychiatrist and/or a nurse clinician. Neuropsychological testing is available on a limited basis to help assist with diagnosis and treatment. Services provided include assessment and diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and education. In addition, clients may have an opportunity to participate in clinical research. Referrals are made to the CCAC where appropriate. |
