Individuals (applicants) may choose Long Term Care facilities from outside their own CCAC area.

Unit description: Dementia specific floor/unit.
34 beds in secure unit for individuals who wander and/or have complex behavioural problems
Units also available for younger adults under 65 with cognitive impairment or developmentally challenged.
Safety features: Alarm on unit, alarm on outer door, cameras, key pads, Maglocks, ID bracelets, Wanderguard bracelets. Secure outdoor wandering area.
