Additional Information: Our Handypersons are retired individuals who enjoy fixing things and helping others. They have maintained their own homes over the years. This service is not meant for those cases requiring professional tradespersons, guarantees or regular maintenance such as plumbing or electrical work. Handypersons are advanced or reimbursed directly for the cost of the necessary materials and supplies.

Additional Information: Drop-In Companion Caregivers provide friendship and conversation, taking the senior for walks, reading to them or writing letters, medication reminders, cognitive stimulation, meal preparation, light housekeeping etc. The range and scope of our Drop-In Companion Caregiver service is unlimited. Age appropriate care is provided based solely upon the senior’s needs.
The home cleaning service is offered on a regular or irregular basis once a week, once a month or whenever the occasion demands. Seniors are responsible to provide cleaning supplies.

Drop-In Companion - $21.00 per hour (3 hour minimum)

Area Served: Metropolitan Toronto and York Region.
Additional Information: Live-in Companion Caregivers responsibilities include all non-medical caregiving required including managing the household to whatever extent deemed necessary.
Long term Live-in assignments are split between 2 Companion Caregivers, often with one Companion Caregiver covering Monday to Friday and another Caregiver covering the weekends, or alternately four day coverage and three day coverage.
The same two Companion Caregivers are assigned to ensure continuity with the senior and their loved ones. We have had several Live-in assignments where the same two Companion Caregivers have been assisting the same senior for many years. There is an additional charge for two seniors requiring care rather than one.

Additional Information: Driver Companions use their own personal automobiles. They are watchful Companions staying with and assisting the senior at all times.
Drivers are available for trips to medical appointments, the bank, grocery stores, to visits with friends, trips outside of the city or wherever the senior would like to go. We can accommodate collapsible wheelchairs and walkers.
