| Additional Information: | Caregivers, guided by expert clinical coaches, will learn how to deal with common challenging situations.
This 12 week program consists of: Week 1 & 2: Assess and define the problem Week 3 to 6: Group education Week 7 to 12: Skills training using simulated situations with professional actors and expert coaching Support Services: Maintenance of skills and reinforcement sessions. Individual interventions, including psychotherapy, as needed. In addition, comprehensive services are available for the person with dementia in the Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic for Older People located in the Centre. |
