Eligibility: Admissions criteria:
Diagnosis of memory loss which is irreversible
Full geriatric assessment
Medical stable
Able to feed himself/herself with minimal assistance
Can manage some self care (dressing and bathing) with the assistance of staff
Behaviour is appropriate for communal living and can be controlled with appropriate staff intervention
Not alcohol or tobacco dependent
Able to toilet self with reminders
Can follow instructions related to very simple, functional tasks
Predominant Culture: Persons with Alzheimer Disease/related dementias; Multicultural
How to apply: Supportive housing services are available for all residents of Ewart Angus.
Other requirements: Early to mid-stage Alzheimer's disease or related dementias.
