One to One Support : Our trained volunteers can meet with you one on one to give you a safe place to share your story with someone who understands because they have experienced a similar loss. This meeting is a chance for you to get some immediate support and also to explore the possibility of joining a mutual support bereavement group.
Mutual Support Bereavement Groups: small, closed-membership groups of 8-12 people who have experienced like-losses and meet to explore their grief in a confidential and supportive setting. The groups are facilitated by two peer, bereaved volunteers who are supported by volunteer professionals. Generally groups meet once a week, in 2-hour sessions, for about 10 weeks.
